In 2015, Robert Grose acquired the keys to Lake Phoenix LLC, a scuba park and camp ground. Providing crystal clear diving experience in Lake Rawlings, Virginia, the business doesn’t sell diving gear or provide training. Prior to owning Lake Phoenix LLC, Mr. Grose ran a restoration business and came across a homeowner who had a scuba tank in his house. Intrigued, Mr. Grose inquired about the gear and his interest was piqued when the client explained more about the hobby. Not long after, Mr. Grose became involved with the industry and holds the title Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDC) from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), though he no longer teaches.

Among his many achievement, Mr. Grose has been featured in Diver Magazine, and was highlighted in an interview by Channel 6 (WTVR-TV). One of the proudest moments of his career has been becoming a general manager and vice president before he reached the age of 40, as well as owning his own business since then. Looking toward the future, he endeavors to expand his scuba business into another quarry in Virginia and continue providing memorable experiences.
